Satan’s Sytem

From the dawn of creation, God envisioned humanity not merely to exist, but to flourish, to reign, and to achieve success in every endeavor. He established an earthly kingdom and entrusted its stewardship to humanity, providing all the necessary tools for this assignment. We were inherently designed for prosperity on Earth, a prosperity contingent upon our continuous connection with God through daily communion. Our Souls(mind and heart), the “software” bestowed upon us, required this divine interaction for effective living.

Satan, driven by pride, envy, and a deep-seated hatred for God’s relationship with humanity, coveted this dominion. He understood that to seize control, he needed to accomplish two critical objectives: first, sever humanity’s connection with God, and second, corrupt the “software” (our soul) to program humanity to fulfill his agenda on Earth. By manipulating human beings, he sought to become the ruler of the earthly kingdom, exploiting the fact that only humans possess the physical bodies necessary to interact with this physical world, a capacity Satan, as a spirit, lacks.

God instilled in human souls the capacity for emotion, with the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22)—guiding us toward the emotions He desired for us. When the Spirit of God is active within us, these are the emotions we experience.

The moment Eve entertained Satan’s lies in the Garden of Eden, the choice to shun the Spirit of Truth opened the door to the spirit of lies and deceit. When Satan takes control of our minds, he triggers emotions contrary to those inspired by the Spirit of God. In Eve’s case, engaging with Satan sparked discontentment, an emotion she would not have known in communion with God. This discontentment spiraled into greed, then disobedience, ultimately leading to the fall of humanity (Genesis 3:1-24).

The Spirit World and Human Design

While the physical world has been in existence for thousands of years, the spirit world existed long before it. Our human spirit, originating from God’s Spirit, embodies the divine consciousness within us and guides us in our search for the Spirit of truth as Job 32:8 states, “it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.” God’s creation of man involved two steps: molding a physical body from soil and then imbuing it with a Spirit. Genesis 2:7 recounts, “Then God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

Uniquely among all earthly creation, only humans received the “breath of God,” which was the Spirit. While animals possess bodies and souls, they lack this divine spirit. Conversely, heavenly beings are spirits without physical bodies. Even Jesus, the Son of God, a heavenly being, required a human birth to acquire a physical body for His earthly mission.

In John 3:1-13, Jesus clarifies to Nicodemus that entry into the Kingdom of God requires being “born again.” This bewildered Nicodemus, who thought only of physical birth, but Jesus was referring to the rebirth of the spirit within a person (John 3:6-7, Ezekiel 36:26).

Our physical bodies were designed for Earth. However, our spirits are crafted to interact with heavenly realms. This design reflects God’s understanding that even with dominion over Earth, we cannot truly thrive or succeed without Him. He implanted a “software” – our human souls, encompassing our hearts and minds – that requires the Spirit’s influence for guidance, leadership, maintenance, and thriving. This software was intended to be programmed by the Spirit of God, through the human spirit. However, humanity’s sin, by agreeing with Satan, granted another spirit access to this software, allowing Satan to program human beings through his chosen spirits, leading to humanity working against itself.

Satan’s Programming and Humanity’s Oppression

From the outset, Satan harbored no concern for humanity’s well-being. He despised God’s gift of a kingdom to humanity and, in his pride and greed, sought to control Earth by controlling humans. By the time Jesus arrived, humanity was largely under Satan’s sway, as he had mastered dominating the world by dominating its inhabitants. We see Jesus acknowledge that Satan had taken over earth when he calls Satan ‘the prince of the world’ in John 14:30. However, Jesus also mentions in the same scripture that Satan has no authority over him, Jesus was not under the authority of Satan, even though he was in the world himself, he was under the authority of the Kingdom of God. This proved that it’s possible to be in a world largely ruled by Satan , but still be under a different authority, the Kingdom of God.

Satan’s power is evident in his temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, as described in Matthew 4:8-9. There, Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in exchange for worship, an offer Jesus rejected. This demonstrates Satan’s ability to offer worldly power and possessions, a tactic he continues to employ today to gain control over people’s souls. From the beginning of time, Satan has sought to access and manipulate human souls, and he persists in these efforts.

With access to humanity’s “software,” Satan began to program humanity, making humans mentality flawed, experience emotions that were not experienced before the Fall, and act in accordance to his plan which is to ultimately gain control over the world.

Satan’s strategy involves first gaining access to our minds to introduce lies. Engaging with him means choosing to listen to the spirit of lies, disconnecting from the spirit of truth. This makes it difficult, if not impossible, to experience emotions that come with God’s Spirit, such as peace, joy, and love. When God’s Spirit departs, emotions like anger, hate, resentment, jealousy, and envy take over, leading us to act as Satan desires.

Centuries of Satan’s control have molded humanity’s collective “software” (mind) with his lies, shaping our belief systems and thought patterns. Without God’s Spirit, oppressive emotions became dominant, making it easier to feel emotions like jealousy, anger, frustration, hate, resentment, regret, shame, and greed. This prolonged access has formed patterns in the world, literally programming humanity to do Satan’s bidding. Many believe they are in control of their minds, yet we often operate within a rigged system, designed to oppress and cause us to live lives that miss God’s will. Romans 12:2 advises, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

The initial step toward freedom is acknowledging this oppression. Humanity suffers in ways like: poverty, depression, loneliness, infertility, addiction, sexual immorality, diseases, stagnation, slow progress, and premature deaths. Even those who perceive themselves as free, upon closer examination, will identify areas of oppression. The system itself is designed to oppress. Satan achieved this universal oppression by first separating humanity from God, thus removing the Spirit of God and gaining authority to access, manipulate, and program humanity’s “software” for his advantage. This “software” instilled thoughts and emotions that control us, leading us to act according to Satan’s goal:

Humanity’s failure, both individually and collectively.

We often observe a minority achieving worldly success, leading others to believe they are exempt from oppression. However, this is a deception. Even the “successful minority” faces things like broken marriages, addictions, terminal illnesses, and suicide. While not oppressed by poverty, they are still oppressed by the system designed to affect everyone. Satan seeks to divide humanity, making us believe others are free. In our pursuit of freedom from oppression, we often oppress others out of greed and selfishness, perpetuating Satan’s agenda.

Satan’s lies deceive humanity into betraying one another, believing it lessens their own oppression. Just as he promised Eve she would become like God by eating the forbidden fruit, only to bring about her downfall, he now convinces people they are oppressed by a lack of wealth, influence, fame, or power that others have. He causes us to fault others for our oppression, so that we can focus on fighting others as opposed to fighting him, Ephesians 6:12. He offers solutions that ultimately lead to both individual and collective failure.

The Path to Reprogramming and Freedom

Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross brought salvation and reintroduced the Spirit of God into believers’ lives. The Spirit of God is intended to uninstall Satan’s programming and install a new “software” that aligns with God’s original design. Unfortunately, many believers still operate with Satan’s “software,” failing to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in this process of uninstallation and reinstallation.

Satan employs a consistent strategy to hinder individuals from reaching their full potential, a pattern evident from the Garden of Eden, through Cain’s life, and continuing today. This pattern unfolds in three stages:

  1. Introduction of a Lie: A lie is introduced, either through an accessible agent of the enemy (which includes most people) or directly by the enemy as an “original thought.”
  2. Belief and Emotional Response: Believing the lie triggers an emotion. If unchecked, this emotion leads to an action or words.
  3. Sin and Demonic Access: Once words are uttered or actions are taken, sin enters, opening a door for Satan to access the individual whenever he chooses.

This cycle, if repeated, forms a habit, which in turn can lead to demonic oppression and even possession. Such spiritual oppression can become deeply ingrained, even manifesting as a generational curse passed down through DNA.

To escape this cycle, one must confront the original deception. By allowing the Spirit of God to expose the core lie that initiated the oppression and by embracing the true alternative, a new, truth-based pattern can be formed. It is also crucial to verbally renounce and reject the lie, asserting to Satan that you no longer believe it or agree with it. This revokes his authority and legal access to your life through that vulnerability. Expel him and close that door permanently.

Consider the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4. Both brothers offered sacrifices to God. Cain offered some of his produce, while Abel offered the best of his flock—fat portions from the firstborn animals, demonstrating thoughtful effort. God favored Abel’s sacrifice due to this effort, a truth Cain could have understood. However, Cain failed to seek this truth, instead concluding that God simply preferred Abel. This sparked jealousy, envy, and anger within him.

God, foreseeing the destructive path Cain was on, intervened with advice: “Why are you angry? Why are you downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; and it desires to have you, but you must rule over it” (Genesis 4:6-7). Here, God urged Cain to choose a different thought, which would lead to a different emotion. Had Cain heeded this, he would have disrupted Satan’s plan and avoided killing Abel.

Instead, Cain allowed his emotions to dictate his actions, resulting in the murder of his brother. This act not only granted Satan access to Cain but also to his future generations. The consequence of this generational curse is seen later in Genesis 4:23-24, where Lamech, a descendant of Cain, boasts of his own violent acts: “Lamech said to his wives, ‘Adah and Zillah, listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words, I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me, if Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times.’”

We must earnestly ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate our patterns, revealing where we still harbor thought and emotional patterns that align with Satan’s system, granting him access to operate in and through our lives, causing individual and collective oppression.

Satan cannot control our lives or humanity without accessing our souls (minds and hearts). He relies on his singular strategy: lying to us. He has successfully installed a system that operates independently to shape our thoughts and feelings. This is the system we are born and raised into. Therefore, we must humbly acknowledge that, by ourselves, we are doomed to fail; no human possesses the inherent intelligence to overcome a system developed over millennia.

The good news is that through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and the Holy Spirit’s power, we can disconnect from this worldly system and reprogram our hearts and minds, creating a different reality for ourselves and humanity, one person at a time. The Kingdom of God was established on Earth to undo the works of the Kingdom of Satan and lead humanity to a different outcome. As Jeremiah 1:9 states, “Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, ‘I have put words in your mouth. See today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.’

To truly flourish and conquer all forms of oppression, we must dismantle the existing system and, guided by the Holy Spirit, establish God’s intended system in our individual lives. Only through the Holy Spirit can this divine system be instilled within us, enabling us to effectively reign on Earth.

In conclusion, it is vital to identify the oppression Satan has inflicted upon your life and all of humanity. Understanding how your thoughts and emotional patterns have granted him access to your life, allowing this oppression, is crucial. It is equally important to recognize that God does not desire this oppression for you. With the Spirit of God within you, you possess the power and ability to reprogram your “software,” dismantle patterns that align with Satan’s plan, and install a system that aligns with God’s will for your life, ultimately uprooting oppression and embracing a powerful earthly life, and indeed, eternal life.
